شاہد گھمن 2018ء سے روسی وزارتِ خارجہ کے ساتھ باقاعدہ ایکریڈیٹڈ غیر ملکی صحافی ہیں۔ روس کی داخلی و خارجہ سیاست، پاکستان اور روس کے تعلقات، وسطی ایشیا، بین الاقوامی سفارت کاری، دفاع، توانائی اور جغرافیائی سیاست ان کی صحافتی دلچسپی اور تخصص کے اہم شعبے ہیں۔

Shahid Ghumman is a senior Pakistani journalist, analyst, columnist and international affairs specialist. He is currently based in Moscow, serving as the Russia Correspondent for Dunya News, one of Pakistan’s leading news channels. He is also the Editor of the Urdu-language news platform Voice of Russia.

He began his journalistic career in 1996 and has worked with several respected Pakistani newspapers, news organizations and television channels. He served as the Russia Correspondent for 92 News from 2017 until February 2025 and has been reporting from Russia for Dunya News since February 2025.

Shahid Ghumman has been officially accredited as a foreign correspondent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation since 2018. His principal areas of coverage include Russia’s domestic and foreign policy, Pakistan-Russia relations, Central Asia, international diplomacy, defence, energy and geopolitics.
